Gene Information

human ... CX3CR1(1524)

General description

C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1(CX3CR1) is a seven transmembrane domain G‐protein‐coupled receptor. The gene is located on human chromosome 3p22.2. CX3CR1 is expressed in different types of inflammatory cells.

Immunogen

CX3CR1 antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 2 to 21 of human CX3CR1. The sequence differs from those of mouse and rat CX3CR1 by four amino acids (3,4).

Application

Anti-CX3CR1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in western blotting.

Biochem/physiol Actions

C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) functions as a receptor for fractalkine. It is implicated in the progression of inflammatory and vascular disorders.

Features and Benefits

Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.
