Application
- Enhancement of cultural heritage conservation techniques: Powdered paint was employed in non-destructive and non-invasive identification techniques for hydroxy lead-calcium phosphate solid solutions in cultural heritage materials, demonstrating its application in art restoration and conservation (Costantino et al., 2024).
- Development of environmentally friendly building materials: Powdered paint was used in sustainable applications involving waste sludges from wastewater treatment plants, specifically in the construction industry to enhance the environmental sustainability of building materials (Stojmenovic et al., 2024).
- Improvement of water-based paint formulations: A study assessed the impact of a sepiolite-based bio-pigment, infused with indigo extract, on the appearance and durability of water-based white primers, highlighting its significance in the development of more durable and aesthetically pleasing paint products (Calovi and Rossi, 2024).
