Antimalarial artemisinin derivative

Arteether is a semisynthetic artemisinin derivative with antimalarial activity. It has been used for the treatment of chloroquine-resistant Plasmodium falciparum malaria and cerebral malaria, and has also been shown to have anticancer activity.
