  2. Can this PVDF membrane be used in Dot blot detecting nucleic acids?

    1. No, a positively charged membrane is required for nucleic acid blotting. At this time, a positively charged PVDF membrane is not available. Nylon membranes are often used for this application. Please see the links below to review products that may be of interest:
