Descripción

General description

Cyhalofop-butyl is a post-emergence, aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide, which is used in controlling weeds in rice plantations. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase) biosynthesis.

Application

Cyhalofop-butyl may be used as a reference standard in the determination of cyhalofop-butyl in rice samples using liquid chromatography coupled with diode array detector (LC-DAD).
