By incubating any ColorWheel® antibody with any ColorWheel® dye, researchers can quickly and simply produce primary conjugated antibodies for use in single color or multicolor flow cytometry analysis. Each ColorWheel® antibody and dye is lyophilized for long long-term storage, allowing for simplicity and flexibility without compromise. ColorWheel® technology requires both ColorWheel® antibody and ColorWheel® dye for Flow Cytometry application.

Flow Cytometry Analysis (FC): Staining of one million Mouse splenocytes was performed using 5 μL of 1:1 mixture of Cat. No. CWA-1008, Anti-Mouse CD90.2 (30-H12) ColorWheel® Dye-Ready mAb and Cat. No. CWD-PE ColorWheel® Antibody-Ready Phycoerythrin (PE) Dye an equivalent amount of a PE-conjugated Rat IgG2b isotype control.
Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user

Thy-1 membrane glycoprotein (UniProt: P01831; also known as Thy-1 antigen, CD90) is encoded by the Thy1 (also known as Thy-1) gene (Gene ID: 21838) in murine species. CD90 is a highly conserved, GPI-anchored membrane protein with one Ig V-type superfamily domain (aa 20-127). It is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-19) and a propeptide (aa 132-162) that are subsequently cleaved off to generate the mature form (aa 20-131). It lacks an intracellular domain but is located in the outer leaflet of lipid rafts at the cell plasma membrane allowing signaling functions by cis- and trans-interactions with G inhibitory proteins, the Src and c-fyn kinases, and tubulin. CD90 is a major cell surface protein found on both T-cells and in the brain. It plays a key role in cell-cell and cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain. It also plays a role in the regulation of axon growth and nerve regeneration, T cell activation and apoptosis, leukocytes and melanoma cell adhesion and migration, and fibroblast proliferation and migration in wound healing. CD90 mRNA and protein expression has been reported in several cancer types including liver, myeloid, skin, and brain. It is considered as a marker for glioblastoma stem cells. Reduced expression of Thy-1 is shown to enhance the expression of osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. Clone 30-H12 does not cross react with mouse and rat strains bearing the Thy-1.1 alloantigen (Ref.: Sauzay, C., et al. (2019). Front. Cell Dev. Biol. 7; 66; Moraes, DA., et al. (2016). Stem Cell Res. Lyophilized from PBS containing D-Mannitol and Sucrose, normal appearance is a dried pellet. Reconstituted antibody solution is stable and functional as assessed by functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide.
Ricostituzione
1.0 mg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL in PBS. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
Stoccaggio e stabilità
Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C. Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial. Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of PBS. Protect from light.
