The stability of this compound in solution has not been investigated. Preparation of fresh solutions is recommended, when possible. If solution storage is necessary, various literature sources indicate that light-protected aliquots may be stored at -20°C for up to 12 months. In addition, dilute stock solutions (<1mg/mL) may be stable up to 2 months at 4°C and up to 24 hours at 23°C. Solutions that are pink or brown in color are degraded and should not be used.
