Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

PERP acts as a novel p53 target gene in the p53-dependent apoptosis signaling pathway. The study shows that p53 directly stimulates PERP by binding to the promoter of PERP. It has also been reported that the expression of PERP causes cell death.
