Description générale

Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 104 (CCDC104) is a widely expressed uncharacterized protein, which is localized predominantly to nucleus, and is also found in cytoplasm. It is composed of a coiled-coil region in its C-terminal, followed by two α-helices and a BART (binder of Arl2) domain in the N-terminal.

Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 104 (CCDC104), commonly known as CFAP36 (cilia and flagella associated protein 36), functions as a binding partner of the ciliary protein Arl3 (ADP-ribosylation factor-like 3).
