Application
- Epidural Nalbuphine in Orthopedic Surgeries: Nalbuphine hydrochloride was evaluated as an epidural adjuvant to bupivacaine for postoperative analgesia in lower limb orthopedic surgeries. This study underscores its effective role in enhancing pain management protocols, demonstrating significant improvements in patient comfort during the postoperative phase (Farmawy et al., 2023).
- Pharmacokinetic Study of Nalbuphine Nasal Spray: Comparative pharmacokinetics of nalbuphine nasal spray versus injection solution in healthy volunteers were studied, providing valuable data on the bioavailability and systemic effects of different administration routes. This research aids in developing patient-friendly nalbuphine formulations for pain management (Tymko et al., 2023).
- Pharmacokinetic Profiling in Anesthesia: A validated ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) method was developed for determining nalbuphine in human plasma. This method was applied in a pharmacokinetic study of patients undergoing general anesthesia, enhancing the understanding of its pharmacological behavior during surgical procedures (Gao et al., 2023).
