General description

Reversed-phase silica gels are generally suitable to retain catalysts by hydrophobic interactions.[1]

Application

Silica gel C8-reversed phase was used in the purification of tertiary sulphonamide using FSPE.[2] Pressure induced C8 reversed phase silica gel was synthesized through a sol-gel templating technique.[3]
