Routinely evaluated by Immunoblot Analysis. This peptide can be used as a standard for antibodies specific for the N-terminus of histone H4. It can also be chemically acetylated with [3H]CH3COONa using the HDAC Assay Kit (17-281). The radiolabeled peptide was used to assay HDAC activity in a HeLa nuclear extract (12-309).
