Cell stiffness is a sensitive indicator of physiological and pathological changes in cells, with many potential applications in biology and medicine. A new method, real-time deformability cytometry, probes cell stiffness at high throughput by exposing cells to a shear flow

Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. Can this product be used as a lubricant for centrifuge buckets/load bearing bolts in a GMP setting?

    1 answer
    1. This product is of low M-Clarity Quality Level and may not be suitable for use in a Good Manufacturing Practice setting, as most Good Manufacturing Practice regulated products are of high M-Clarity Quality Levels 500 - 600.

  2. What does it mean by average Mn ~860 in the description?

    1 answer
    1. This product demonstrates an average Mn of approximately 860 daltons. The ‘average Mn' is the Number Average Molecular Weight of all the polymer chains present in a given sample. The number average molecular weight (Mn) is calculated using the following equation:
      Mn = ∑iNiMi / ∑iNi
      where Mi is the molecular weight of a chain
      where Ni is the number of chains of that molecular weight
      where i is the number of polymer molecules
