L-Leucin-7-amido-4-methylcumarinhydrochlorid (Leu-AMC) ist ein fluorogenes Peptidylsubstrat für Leucinaminopeptidase, ein extrazelluläres Enzym, das in natürlichen Wassersystemen reichlich vorkommt. Dieses Enzym ist eines der zahlreichen Enzyme, die von Bakterien für die Proteinhydrolyse genutzt werden.

Application

L-Leucin-7-amido-4-methylcumarinhydrochlorid (Leu-AMC) ist ein Substratanalogon zum Bestimmen der Leucinaminopeptidase-Aktivität.

L-Leucin-7-amido-4-methylcumarin wird wie folgt verwendet:

• als Substrat in fluoreszenzbasierten Bodenuntersuchungen
• zum Bestimmen der Leucinaminopeptidase-Aktivität von sowohl demPlasmodium falciparum M1-Enzym (PfA-M1) als auch dem PfA-M17-Enzym[1]
