General description

Mito-Rot ist ein membrangängiger Rhodaminfarbstoff. Er reichert sich in den Mitochondrien an und emittiert im roten Bereich. Die Interaktion von Mito-Rot mit Mitochondrien beruht auf dem Membranpotential der Mitochondrien. Zur Einfärbung werden 20-200 nM Mito-Rot eingesetzt.

Application

MitoRed (Mito Red), a vital dye and mitochondrial stain, is used to indicate the status of mitochondria under various physiological and physical conditions.
