Reacts strongly with human and mouse proSP-B (detects both the N-terminal and C-terminal propeptides). Does not react with mature SP-B. On human tissue immunostains alveolar Type II cells and non-ciliated bronchiolar cells. On mouse tissue immunostains alveolar Type II cells and non-ciliated bronchiolar (Clara cells) in distal and terminal airways.
Immunogen
Epitope: reacts with both C-terminus and N-terminus

The primary treatment for end-stage lung disease is lung transplantation. However, donor organ shortage remains a major barrier for many patients. In recent years, techniques for maintaining lungs ex vivo for evaluation and short-term (<12 h) resuscitation have come into

The serine-threonine kinase homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2) modulates important cellular functions during development, acting as a signal integrator of a wide variety of stress signals, and as a regulator of transcription factors and cofactors. We have previously demonstrated that

Cigarette smoke (CS) exposure during gestation may increase the risk of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)-a developmental lung condition primarily seen in neonates that is characterized by hypoalveolarization, decreased angiogenesis, and diminished surfactant protein production and may increase the risk of chronic
Bio-engineered organs for transplantation may ultimately provide a personalized solution for end-stage organ failure, without the risk of rejection. Building upon the process of whole organ perfusion decellularization, we aimed to develop novel, translational methods for the recellularization and regeneration

Thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) is a 43-kDa, phosphorylated member of the Nkx2 family of homeodomain-containing proteins expressed selectively in lung, thyroid, and the central nervous system. To assess the role of TTF-1 and its phosphorylation during lung morphogenesis, mice bearing
