Application

  • Discovering Hair Biomarkers of Alzheimer′s Disease Using High Resolution Mass Spectrometry-Based Untargeted Metabolomics.: The study uses PBS tablets in the sample preparation process for mass spectrometry, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of metabolomic profiling to identify biomarkers for Alzheimer′s disease (Su et al., 2023).

  • A systematic evaluation of quenching and extraction procedures for quantitative metabolome profiling of HeLa carcinoma cell under 2D and 3D cell culture conditions.: This article highlights the use of PBS tablets for cell washing and metabolite extraction, demonstrating their essential role in consistent and reproducible metabolomic analyses under varying cell culture conditions (Wang et al., 2023).

  • In situ digestion of alcohol-fixed cells for quantitative proteomics.: PBS tablets were employed in this study for washing and maintaining cells during in situ digestion, critical for accurate quantitative proteomics analysis and data integrity (Hatano et al., 2023).
