Description

General description

Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic derived from Streptomyces fradiae, primarily used in veterinary medicine. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit and is effective against Gram-positive organisms and mycoplasmas.
