Our quantitative animal and vegetable reference mixes conform to the requirements of the American Oil Chemists′ Society (AOCS) method Ce 1-62. The composition of each mix is similar to the fatty acid distribution of certain oils listed under each product. Please note that the AOCS mixtures sold under the Supelco brand are named RM-1, RM-2, etc.

The composition of AOCS No. 1 (RM-1) is similar to the fatty acid distribution of the following oils: corn, cottonseed, kapok, poppyseed, rice, safflower, sesame, soybean, sunflower, and walnut oils. This mix may be used as a reference standard to aid in the identification and quantition of these oils.

This Certified Reference Material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025. All information regarding the use of this CRM can be found on the certificate of analysis.
