General description

Our classical silica TLC plates are based on a combination of our proven silica gel 60 and the addition of a unique polymeric binder resulting in a very adherent and hard surface that will not crack or blister and even allow writing with a pensil on the surface without risk to damage the layer.

Application

  • Estimation of Levodopa in the Unani Drug Mucuna pruriens Bak. and Its Marketed Formulation by High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatographic Technique: This study demonstrates the application of TLC glass plates in quantifying Levodopa, highlighting their role in ensuring the quality and consistency of both raw materials and formulated products in traditional medicine practices (Mohapatra et al., 2020).

  • Densitometric Validation and Analysis of Biomarker β-Amyrin in Different Acacia Species (Leaves) Grown in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by High Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography: The research employs TLC glass plates to analyze plant extracts, emphasizing their utility in evaluating and standardizing botanicals in various regions (Alam et al., 2015).

  • Simultaneous HPTLC Analysis of Ursolic Acid, Betulinic Acid, Stigmasterol, and Lupeol for the Identification of Four Medicinal Plants Commonly Available in the Indian Market as Shankhpushpi: Utilizing TLC glass plates for the simultaneous identification and quantification of multiple compounds, this study underscores their importance in the quality control of herbal medicines (Sethiya & Mishra, 2015).

  • Validated High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatographic Method for the Quantification of Thymoquinone in Nigella Sativa Extracts and Formulations: This article showcases the application of TLC glass plates in developing validated methods for compound quantification, essential for ensuring the therapeutic consistency and efficacy of pharmaceutical preparations (Velho-Pereira et al., 2011).

  • RP-Thin Layer Chromatographic Method for the Quantification of Three Gingerol Homologs of Ultrasonic-Assisted Fresh Rhizome Extracts of Zingiber Officinale Collected from North Western Himalayas: The study illustrates the use of TLC glass plates in the innovative application of reverse-phase chromatography, enhancing the analysis of active compounds in complex herbal matrices (Khan et al., 2010).
