Description générale

Ce kit contient les cartouches de prétraitement et de purification de rechange suivantes : une cartouche d'élimination des composés organiques Super-C, deux cartouches de déionisation échangeuses d'ions, une cartouche d'élimination des composés organiques à l'état de traces Organex-Q, et une unité de filtration Millipak®.
Toutes les cartouches sont conditionnées sous vide et ont une durée de vie de deux ans.

Caractéristiques et avantages

  • Cartouche de charbon actif servant à éliminer les composés organiques dissous.
  • Cartouches échangeuses d'ions de qualité "nucléaire" destinée à éliminer les ions inorganiques présents à l'état de traces jusqu'à une résistivité de18 MΩ·cm.
  • Cartouche de piégeage des composés organiques permettant d'éliminer les traces organiques.
  • Filtre final de 0,22 μm de très haute efficacité.

  1. What are the storage conditions for this product?

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  2. How are consumables changed?

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

It's possible to place only one consumable order per year with a specific contract called "Consumable Supply Agreement (CSA)" (https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/products/water-purification/milli-q-consumables#csa).   7. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  8. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

  9. If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

    1. It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.
