General description

Paraplast X-TRA® is a unique blend of highly purified paraffin and low molecular weight polymers for lower temperature infiltration and better compression resistance. It cuts continuous ribbons of 2μm thickness.

Application

Paraplast X-TRA® has been used to prepare conifer models from Maritime pine for genomics research. In-situ detection of miRNAs using LNA probes used Paraplast X-TRA® for tissue embedding. Paraplast X-TRA® is used for tissue embedding.
