  1. Will this enzyme work in water or PBS, or must it be a potassium buffer (for which not further details are provided in the spec sheet)?

    1. Potassium buffer is not required. For assay purposes, this product is reconstituted in potassium phosphate buffer, pH 6.0, at 0.2 mg/ml, Solutions may also be prepared 40 mM Tris HCL, pH 7.5, containing 50 mM NaCl and 50% glycerol. This stock may be stored for extended periods at –20 °C. Other sources indicate that this enzyme may also be prepared in water containing 0.01% BSA and TBE buffer.
