General description

mPAGE® TurboMix Bis-Tris Gel Casting Kits deliver all the benefits of bis-tris gel chemistry. The gels operate at neutral pH which minimizes protein modification and promotes protein stability during the run. This leads to sharper bands and improved resolution. Run times are about 40% faster than standard tris-glycine gels. Cast gels can be stored at 4 °C for up to 4 weeks and are compatible with standard staining and transfer methods.
The mPAGE® TurboMix casting workflow offer many improvements over standard processes.

  • Pre-mixed acrylamide buffer solutions save time and improve reproducibility
  • Flexibility: dilute resolving solution with DI water to any gel percentage between 8% and 15%
  • Quick Cast protocol allows simultaneous polymerization of stacking and resolving gels, saving even more time

Application

Premixed solutions for casting bis-tris polyacrylamide gels.

Questions

1–3 of 3 Questions
  1. In TMKIT mPAGE kit details 1. Flexibility: dilute resolving solution with DI water to any gel percentage between 8% and 15% Could you please confirm the stock resolving solution percentage? 2. Feed ratio 29:1 If the feed ratio indicates the ratio

    1 answer
    1. This kit may be used to prepare gels at a range of 8 - 15%. An 8% gel requires 2.4 mL Resolving Solution, a 10% requires 3 mL, a 12% requires 3.6 mL, and a 15% requires 4.5 mL. See the table below for additional details. The feed ratio refers to the amount of acrylamide monomer to crosslinker.
