Application

Tyrphostin 47 has been used in LOPAC screening assays to identify human tissue transglutaminase (TGM2) inhibitors. Tyrphostin 47 has also been used to study its effects on hyperpolarization-activated cation current in porcine pacemaker cells.

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

Tyrphostin 23 is a small molecule inhibitor of epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor kinase function. This molecule associates with the substrate subsite of the protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) domain,.
