Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques
SERINC2 is referred as TDE2, TDE2L, FKSG84 and PRO0899. It may have an effect on tumor cell growth by influencing the expression of SREBP and p21. This gene possess sequence similarity to the mouse testicular tumor-differentially-expressed (Tde1/MUSTETU) gene and is observed in NSCLC. It is replicable and is significantly a risk gene specific for alcohol dependence in individuals of European descent.
