Application

Carbon nanotube, single-walled (SWNT) belongs to the class of carbonaceous materials with excellent physiochemical, thermo-mechanical and electrochemical properties. This material can be used in a variety of sustainable energy applications such as solar cells, photocatalysis, thin film conductors, field effect transistors (FETs), biosensor, gas sensor, supercapacitor and nanomechanical resonators.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Metal impurities in single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were studied as airborne tracers of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) for workplace safety monitoring.[8] SWNTs were used as reinforcements in crosslinked composites of polypropylene fumarate (PPF) for bone tissue engineering applications.[9]

Articles

Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes synthesized by the Super-Growth Method & their properties & applications, including dispersing SGCNTs, SGCNT-polymer composites & SGCNT-metal composites are discussed.

Carbon nanotubes are materials that possess remarkable properties and offer extraordinary possibilities.

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have received much attention since their discovery in 1991 by Sumio lijima1 due to their excellent mechanical, electrical, and optical properties.

A nanocomposite is typically defined as a mixture between a host material (e.g., polymer matrix) and nanofillers with at least one dimension of less than 100 nm.
