Lipid Standards
Our lipids and fatty acids standards consist of a large selection of compounds ranging from cyclopropane and free fatty acids, edible oils, sterols, fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), glycerides, and glycerols to fatty acid degradation products, tryptamides, and amides. We offer analytical standards suitable for food matrix testing, microbiology testing, analysis of functional foods or nutraceutical formulations, clinical and diagnostic testing, and prognostic and diagnostic biomarker discovery.

Free Fatty Acids
Our free fatty acid portfolio contains certified reference materials (CRMs) and analytical standards of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, it also includes kits of individually packaged, neat standards.
Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAMEs)
Fatty acid methyl esters are derived by the transesterification of fats with methanol or methylation of free fatty acids. Fatty acids are often analyzed by GC after methylation to their FAME derivatives. FAME are also the main component of biodiesel. We provide a comprehensive portfolio of CRMs and analytical standards of FAMEs, including a 37 component FAME CRM mix. This multi-component standard mix includes methyl esters of fatty acids ranging from C4 to C24, covering key monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Sterols
Sterols or steroid alcohols are lipids that are abundant in plants, animals, and fungi. Sterols, such as cholesterol, play an essential role in organism cellular membranes or as vitamin and hormone precursors. Our portfolio includes neat analytical standards, as well as certified reference materials solutions, including isotope-labeled CRMs.
Edible Oils and Essential Oils
We offer a range of analytical standard-grade products for edible oils, like sunflower or olive oil, with a GC fingerprint of the lipid ingredients.
