V5 Tag Peptide is a synthetic peptide that has an amino acid sequence correspondinh to amino acids 95-108 of the non-structural protein V and to the RNA polymerase a subunit (P protein), of Paramyxovirus SV5 with an N-terminal cysteine.
Application
The peptide is useful for displacement of V5-tagged fusion proteins from anti-V5 antibody in immunoassays. The successful inhibition of antibody binding of V5 peptide demonstrates binding is specific.
Other Notes
The amino acid sequence corresponds to amino acids 95-109 of non-structural protein V and to RNA polymerase α subunit (P protein), of Paramyxovirus SV5 with an N-terminal cysteine.
Amino acid sequence is N-Cys-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ile-Pro-Asn-Pro-Leu-Leu-Gly-Leu-Asp-Ser-Thr-C
Lyophilized from 0.1% TFA in H2O
Preparation Note
To prepare a stock solution, dissolve in water to a final concentration of 5 mg/mL.

Poly(A)-specific ribonuclease (PARN) is a 3'-exoribonuclease that plays an important role in regulating the stability and maturation of RNAs. Recently, PARN has been found to regulate the maturation of the human telomerase RNA component (hTR), a noncoding RNA required for

Tissue specific amplification of glucocorticoid action through NADPH-dependent reduction of inactive glucocorticoid precursors by 11beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (11beta-HSD1) contributes to the development of visceral obesity, insulin resistance and Type 2 Diabetes. Hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (H6PDH) is believed to supply NADPH for the
Survival of cancer cells in the harsh tumor microenvironment, characterized by oxygen and glucose deprivation, requires rapid initiation of cytoprotective measures. Metabolites whose levels change during stress are ideal signaling cues, particularly if used in post-translational modifications of stress-responsive signal

RUVBL1 and RUVBL2 (collectively RUVBL1/2) are essential AAA+ ATPases that function as co-chaperones and have been implicated in cancer. Here we investigated the molecular and phenotypic role of RUVBL1/2 ATPase activity in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We find that RUVBL1/2
