Anti-LATS1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total LATS1 protein.
The LATS1 (large tumor suppressor kinase 1) gene encodes a serine/threonine kinase and is located on human chromosome 6q24-25. It is present in the mitotic apparatus. It is also called as WARTS.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human LATS1/2.
Immunogen Range: 1041-1090
Biochem/physiol Actions
The LATS1 (large tumor suppressor kinase 1) protein repress the multiplication and invasion of cervical cancer. It acts as a cell cycle inhibitor. Low level expression of LATS1 is associated with the progression and prognosis of glioma. It is a tumor suppressor gene, thereby it participates in various mitotic processes.
