General description

Nile blue-labeled, melamine resin-based microparticles (size: 10 μm) are a particle size standard, ideal to determine the particle size distribution (PSD) of test samples.

Application

Used to calibrate, qualify and monitor the performance of particle size analyzers with fluorescence detection.

Features and Benefits

  • suitable for routine instrument calibration checks and corrections
  • delivered in 10 mL pack size as a neat sample

Analysis Note

For every lot, exact values of particle size and standard deviation are determined with an accuracy of 0.01 μm using a Coulter Multisizer.
