General description
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to a sequence from the third C2-type Ig-like domain of human MCAM/CD146.
Specificity
Expected to react with both spliced isoforms of human MCAM/CD146 reported by UniProt (P43121).
Application
Epitope: C2-type Ig-like domain 3.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in HeLa cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 0.25 µg/mL of this antibody detected MCAM/CD146 in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 0.25 µg/mL of this antibody detected MCAM/CD146 in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate.
Physical properties
~113 kDa observed. Target band size appears larger than the calculated molecular weights of 70.90 kDa (isoform 1) and 56.89 kDa (isoform 2) due to glycosylation.
Physical form
Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.
Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
