General description

UCOE® (Ubiquitous Chromatin Opening Element) expression technology demonstrates major improvements in gene expression in stably-transfected mammalian cells. Over 50% of UCOE derived clones have higher expression than the best non-UCOE derived vectors. UCOE vectors may be used to express antibodies, receptors, enzymes, cytokines, and other similar sized biological material. UCOE technology is convenient and easy to use, because it integrates with industry standard platforms (e.g. CHO cells, CMV promoters, plasmids, transfection agents, media, etc...).

The set includes following components:
• 1 x 10 µg DNA
• 1 x 10 µg DNA (Negative control)
Antibiotic resistance: Hygromycin

THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SALE TO ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS OR NOT-FOR-PROFIT ENTITIES FOR RESEARCH USE. FOR INFORMATION ON COMMERCIAL LICENSING OF THE UCOE TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING TO COMMERCIAL ENTITIES, PLEASE CONTACT Marie Azzaria (Marie.Azzaria@emdmillipore.com) or Jamie Hoberg (James.Hoberg@emdmillipore.com).

Application

UCOE (Ubiquitous Chromatin Opening Elements) technology is a breakthrough solution for sustained recombinant protein production and cell line development in mammalian protein expression systems.
