General description

Fluid A is a general rinse buffer designed in compliance with the European Pharmacopeia (EP) 2.6.1, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 71 and Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP) 4.06. The product is a clear colorless liquid.
Each bottle has a screw cap with septum closure to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and optimize the disinfection procedures. The media is supplemented with ascorbic acid which maintains cell viability.

Application

Fluid A is used to rinse aqueous solutions during sterility testing by membrane filtration. It is also used to dilute soluble solids for the same application and as a rinsing fluid for membrane filtration of non-sterile products.
The product is robust and suitable for:
  • Dissolving or diluting samples,
  • Reconstituting commercial microorganism sample.
  • As a transport medium for microorganisms.

Other Notes

1468540006is a custom product. The formulation is based on existing Rinse Fluid A slightlysupplemented with ascorbic acid (vitamin C). The packaging is standard
