General description

N-Desmethylzopiclone is a primary, inactive metabolite of zopiclone. The parent drug, zopiclone, is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic used in the treatment of insomnia. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantitation of n-desmethylzopiclone in GC/MS or LC/MS testing methods for forensic analysis, urine drug testing, or clinical toxicology applications.
