General description

This aluminium-doped (3.15 mol% Al) zinc oxide nanoparticle ink is a nanoparticle-based printing ink allowing processing temperatures of 80-120°C. The Al-doped Zinc oxide nanoparticle ink is an electron selective interface layer ink containing Al-doped zinc oxide (AZO) nanoparticles in butanols. AZO nanoparticle ink functions well as electron extraction layer (EEL) materials in solar cells.

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. This product is used as Optical Spacers in Color-Tuned Highly Efficient Organic Solar Cells and has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more information.

Application

This Al-doped ZnO nanoparticle ink is for slot-die, spin-coating, doctor blading or inkjet printing for the use as electron transport layer in printed electronics. The Al-doped ZnO nanoparticle ink is universally applicable in normal and inverted architecture.
Annealing temperature 80-120°C.

Preparation Note

  • Storage: In dark at room temperature
  • Prior to application: Shake, ultrasonicate and (optionally) filter through 0.45 μm PTFE filter
  • Post-treatment: Annealing of deposited Al-doped ZnO films at 80-120°C
  • Thickness optimization may be necessary
