General description

Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), 40 nm are quasi dynamic colloidal nanomaterials with good surface chemistry and high surface to volume ratio. Their properties include high stability, biocompatibility, and low toxicity which make them useful in biological applications.

Application

AuNPs can be used for a variety of applications such as biomedical, electrochemical and energy based devices. They can also be used in drug delivery and biosensing based device fabrication.
