  • [Cr(CO)6] in the presence of bipyridine (bpy) to form the binuclear complex [Cr2O4(PAO)(bpy)]
  • [Mo(CO)6] in air to give [Mo2O6(PAO)2]
  • [Mo(CO)6] in the presence of bpy to yield the isomeric forms of [Mo(CO)4(PAO)].bpy
