Dear Sir, Madam, What is the size of the bead please? Is it possible to seperate cells rather than proteins in a lysate? Best,
1 answer-
The particle size has not been determined for this product. The product has been optimized for use in protein purification in which the cells would be lysed prior to applying a magnetic field to achieve separation. In principal, there is no reason that the product could not be used in cell separation, however the it has not been tested as such. The researcher would have to determine suitability.
