NADPH-RO has been used for the determination of thioredoxin reductase activity.

Biochem/physiol Actions

NADPH is an electron donor and a cofactor for many redox enzymes including nitric oxide synthetase.

Preparation Note

Storage conditions (working solution): 2 to 8 °C
10 mg/ml in Na-bicarbonate buffer, pH 9, contains at least 95% NADPH after 4 weeks at 2 to 8 °C.

Analysis Note

  • Purity: =97% β-NADPH-Na4 based on dry weight (enzymatically and absorbance at 340 nm), =80% (absorbance at 260 nm)
