Application

Ammonium hydroxide solution can be used to study chromatography, base solutions, analytical reagents, titration and volumetric solutions. Ammonium hydroxide solution has been used to develop a single-laboratory validation by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry for the determination of total iodine (m/z 127) in infant formula and adult nutritional products. Ammonium hydroxide solution has also been used to develop a sensitive liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method to quantify miglustat in mouse plasma and in human plasma, which has improved treatment of patients with cystic fibrosis.
