Application
Isopropyl Alcohol can be used as:
- A ‘green′ reaction solvent for the preparation of high molecular weight, high strength cycloaliphatic diisocyanate based silicone-urea copolymers.
- A granulating agent to determine the endpoint for microcrystalline cellulose (MCC-102) using the powder rheometer and thermal analysis.
- An extraction solvent for the extraction of oil from microalgae that have high polar lipid content.
- A solvent in the dehydration and paraffinization of tissues.
