General description

Tetraammineplatinum(II) hydroxide hydrate is an inorganic platinum catalyst generally used as a precursor for the preparation of platinum complexes.[1] [2]

Application

Tetraammineplatinum(II) hydroxide hydrate can be used as a platinum precursor to synthesze Pt/CeO2 catalysts which is used in water-gas shift reaction.[3]
