General description

Calcium nitrate hydrate can be used as a precursor to synthesize Ca-based nanopowder via a sol-gel process. It can also be used to prepare aerosol for cloud condensation activity.

Application

  • Crack-Repair Efficiency: Evaluating the efficiency of calcium nitrate in the self-healing of cracks in steel fiber-reinforced concrete beams (Milla et al., 2019).
