  1. Do these sachets produce CO2 (in addition to removing the O2)? If so, what is the expected percentage in the 2.5L jar?

    1 answer
    1. Yes, these sachets will generate CO2. The resulting carbon dioxide level will range from 9% and 13%. Please see the link below to review additional information available in the product datasheet:

  3. is this product to produce an anaerobic milieu in the anaerobic jar for the cultivation of obligatory and facultative anaerobes, like Anaerocult™ A ?

    1 answer
    1. The product is available in the form of sachets. These are placed in 2.5 L anaerobic jars to produce an anaerobic environment very similar to the Anaerocult™ A.

  4. Do the bags work at 4°C or only at 37°C? Thank you!

    1 answer
    1. There is no requirement for a heating step in order for this to work. The product reacts to the air in an exothermic reaction to deplete the oxygen. If stored at 2-25°C, the anaerob atmosphere generation bags will retain their reactivity until the expiry date declared on the outer box and on the foil sachet.
