General description

Native pro-MMP-8 from stimulated human neutrophils. MMP-8 is an N-linked, complex glycoprotein that preferentially hydrolyzes Type I collagen versus Types II and III. Activated MMP-8 is inhibited by TIMP-1. Requires activation just prior to use. MW 58800/44000.
