O cartucho do pacote de pré-tratamento foi projetado para pré-tratar a água por meio da remoção de partículas grandes, compostos orgânicos e cloro livre da água de torneira. Isso protege a membrana de osmose reversa (OR) contra incrustação mineral, colmatação orgânica e oxidação por cloro.
O pacote de pré-tratamento Progard® 3 garante a otimização da vida útil e do desempenho do seu sistema.
A substituição de consumíveis, quando solicitada pelo sistema, é fundamental para manter o desempenho do sistema dentro das especificações.
Destina-se ao uso em sistemas de purificação de água AFS®.

Aplicação

Remoção de compostos orgânicos, cloro livre e partículas da água de torneira para proteção ideal da membrana de OR.

Características e benefícios

  • O pacote de pré-tratamento Progard® 3 é feito de polipropileno e EPDM.
  • Adequado para alimentação com água de torneira com índice de densidade de sedimentos (SDI) < 5, Cl2 < 1 ppm.
  • Meios de carvão ativado natural exibem grande área da superfície e cinética de adsorção, tolerando água de alimentação contendo até 1 ppm de cloro.
  • Para evitar a proliferação de bactérias, o carvão ativado natural designado foi impregnado com prata, um agente bacteriostático comprovado.
  • Os meios de filtro de profundidade apresentam uma retenção otimizada e de alta capacidade, tolerando água de alimentação com SDI de até 5.
  • Inclui polifosfato, selecionado especificamente para evitar incrustações sem liberar íons.

  1. What are the storage conditions for this product?

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

It's possible to place only one consumable order per year with a specific contract called "Consumable Supply Agreement (CSA)" (https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/products/water-purification/milli-q-consumables#csa).   6. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  7. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.
