Isocarbamide is a selective amide herbicide used for the pre-emergence control of weeds in sugar and fodder beets.
According to the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2076/2002 of 20th November 2002, isocarbamide is not approved for use in the European Union (EU) as a plant protection agent, following the Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009. But a default maximum residue level (MRL) of 0.01 mg/kg is set for its presence in plant and animal products, according to Art 18(1)(b) Reg 396/2005.
Application
Isocarbamide CRM may also be used as given below:
- Analysis of 250 pesticide residues in 6 kinds of unprocessed food products from farms in Poland using modified QuEChERS combined with high-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS)
- Rapid determination of 166 pesticide residues in fruit and vegetable samples at low parts per billion (ppb) concentrations using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography and electrospray ionization quadrupole Orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC/ESI Q-Orbitrap) and QuEChERS for sample extraction
- Development and validation of a method for the screening of 138 pesticide residues in fruit- and vegetable- based infant foods using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC QqTOF)
- Multi-residue estimation of 250 pesticide residues in samples of different parts of apples, oranges, grapefruits, and lemons using a modified procedure based on the QuEChERS method and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis
- Development of an LC/electrospray ionization (ESI)-MS/MS and ultra-HPLC (UHPLC)/quadrupole (Qq)-time-of-flight (TOF)-MS based procedure for the determination of 141 pesticide residues from 6 types of loose tea samples
- Simultaneous estimation of 148 pesticide residues in berry fruit samples using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC/ESIMS/MS) and ultrahigh-pressure liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization quadrupole timeof-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC QqTOF MS)
