General description
The Kollidon products consist of soluble and insoluble grades of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) of various molecular weights and particle sizes. The polymers are used as dry binders, film-formers, stabilizers in suspensions, dispersants for pigments, enzyme stabilizers, and for improvement of bioavailability.
Application
Kollidon SR is a blend of polyvinyl acetate and povidone (K 30) in the ratio 8:2 used in the pharmaceutical industry as a matrix-forming agent. This research grade product is intended for use in R&D and development only.
Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
