General description

The IsoBag® TSA Settle is designed for quick and convenient transfer of culture media used for air monitoring in isolators or RAB systems. The Beta bag consists of a sterile polyurethane DPTE Bag compatible with 190 mm Alpha Ports. The bag contains 80 non-lockable 90 mm settle plates filled with Tryptic Soy Agar and supplemented with pyruvate to provide an efficient neutralization of hydrogen peroxide, Lecithin, polysorbate (Tween®) 80, histidine and sodium thiosulfate to inactivate disinfectant residues. The plate can be used for the determination of the total aerobic count of active and passive air monitoring samples as well for personnel monitoring (glove prints).
